Before submitting, please ensure your work follows these guidelines:
- Submissions should be original and unpublished, unless otherwise agreed with Duru Magazine.
- Articles should be well-written, researched, and factually accurate.
- Do not submit plagiarized or AI-generated content presented as entirely your own original reporting or writing.
- Include appropriate sources or references when making factual claims.
- Do not submit copyrighted material that you do not have permission to use.
- Images must be original, properly licensed, or accompanied by the necessary permission for publication.
- Avoid defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, or deliberately misleading content.
- Duru Magazine reserves the right to edit submissions for accuracy, clarity, grammar, length, tone, and editorial style.
Article Length
There is no strict word-count requirement.
However, as a general guide:
- Short features: 500–800 words
- Standard features: 800–1,200 words
- In-depth features: 1,200+ words
Quality, originality, and relevance are more important than word count.

All submissions are reviewed by the Duru Magazine editorial team.
