For Spring 2027, TTSWTRS invites fashion into another dimension. Presented during New York Fashion Week on September 11 at Nine Orchard, the Ukrainian-founded label transformed its latest collection, “Wonderland,” into an immersive world where clothing, technology, film, fantasy, and nature exist together.
Rather than treating a runway presentation as simply a succession of looks, TTSWTRS created an environment designed to transport its audience somewhere unfamiliar. The result was a collection that felt less like an escape from reality and more like a surreal reflection of it.
At the heart of Wonderland is a question: what kind of world are we creating, and what might it look like if we chose differently?
Fashion Enters Another World
TTSWTRS has always occupied the space between fashion and art. Founded in Kyiv in 2013 by costume designer and stylist Anna Osmiekhina, the brand developed from a collaborative art project into a label recognized for its tattoo-inspired garments and explorations of identity, self-expression, and the relationship between clothing and the body.
For Spring 2027, that philosophy expands into an entire universe.
The collection draws on recognizable elements associated with Wonderland: a mysterious rabbit, eccentric characters, flowers, porcelain-like forms, flamingo-inspired creatures, and distorted proportions. Yet these references are not presented literally. Instead, they are translated through experimental materials, sculptural construction, exaggerated silhouettes, and handcrafted details.
The familiar becomes strange.
That tension gives the collection its character.
The Body as a Living Canvas
The human body remains central to the TTSWTRS aesthetic. The label’s signature approach to tattoo-inspired clothing has long explored the idea of garments becoming extensions of the skin, challenging conventional distinctions between body and fabric.
In Wonderland, that relationship becomes more sculptural.
Fringe is transformed into ornamental structures that trace and exaggerate the body’s natural architecture. Rather than simply decorating a garment, the material becomes part of the silhouette, creating contours that alter the perception of the figure.
This is clothing designed to interact with the body rather than merely sit on it.
The effect is theatrical, sometimes otherworldly, and unmistakably connected to TTSWTRS’ history of treating fashion as a form of visual expression.
Raffia, Organza and Surreal Forms
Among the collection’s most distinctive material explorations is raffia, used as the primary substance for one of the looks and extended into a sculptural hat. The result moves beyond conventional accessories and into character design, turning the wearer into an inhabitant of the Wonderland universe.
Another look uses vivid pink organza, layered and manipulated to resemble the texture and movement of feathers. The resulting silhouette suggests a flamingo-like creature, bringing an almost fantastical animal quality to the runway.
These pieces demonstrate the collection’s interest in transformation.
Materials aren’t necessarily presented according to their familiar identities. Raffia becomes something architectural. Organza becomes feathers. Fringe becomes sculpture. Flowers become extensions of the body.
The collection continually asks viewers to reconsider what they are seeing.
Flowers in Transformation
Nature is one of Wonderland’s strongest visual languages.
Flowers appear throughout the collection in dramatically different states. Some feel frozen, uncanny, and almost artificial, while others appear intensely vivid and lifelike.
This contrast mirrors the larger concept behind the presentation: the uneasy relationship between nature and technology.
The flowers can be beautiful, but there is also something slightly unsettling about them. They exist somewhere between organic life and simulation, reinforcing the collection’s fascination with a future where the natural and artificial worlds increasingly overlap.
It is this ambiguity that prevents Wonderland from becoming pure fantasy.
There is beauty, but there is also a warning.
When Fashion Meets Technology
The collection’s world extends beyond the garments.
One of the central elements of the presentation was an original AI-generated film developed from a TTSWTRS concept in collaboration with AI artist Katsukokoiso.ai. The film follows a mysterious rabbit into a surreal environment filled with landscapes, animals, unfamiliar creatures, and an atmosphere of calm.
But the dream gradually changes.
The fantasy begins to reveal a darker reflection of reality, touching on themes of overproduction, excess, and humanity’s growing distance from the natural world.
The narrative eventually shifts once again, imagining a future in which nature has been restored, animals are free, and humans coexist more thoughtfully with the planet.
In that sense, Wonderland is not simply about leaving reality behind.
It is about looking at reality differently.
The Runway Becomes an Experience
TTSWTRS extended this concept into the physical presentation by turning its models into inhabitants of Wonderland.
The figures moving through the space acted as a bridge between the physical and virtual worlds, preparing guests to experience the film through HTC VIVE Focus Vision headsets.
Technology therefore wasn’t simply an accessory to the presentation. It became part of the storytelling.
A DJ set by Guillotine created another layer to the experience, helping establish the atmosphere as guests moved between the physical environment and the virtual world. HTC’s VIVE Eagle AI sunglasses were also showcased during the event, further connecting fashion with emerging technology.
The presentation ultimately blurred the boundaries between runway, installation, cinema, and immersive experience.
A Collection About Possibility
Perhaps the most compelling aspect of TTSWTRS Spring 2027 is that its environmental message isn’t presented as a conventional manifesto.
Instead, it is embedded within the fantasy.
The darker moments of the film confront a world shaped by excess and disconnection from nature, while the final vision proposes something different: a restored environment, freedom for animals, and a more harmonious relationship between people and the planet.
The collection becomes the physical counterpart to that idea.
Its strange flowers, exaggerated silhouettes, sculptural garments and fantastical characters suggest a world that doesn’t yet exist.
And that is precisely the point.
Fashion has always been capable of imagining futures before they become reality. TTSWTRS uses that ability to create a Wonderland that is beautiful enough to enter, strange enough to question, and familiar enough to make us look back at our own world.
TTSWTRS’ New Language of Fantasy
With Spring 2027, TTSWTRS continues to push its identity beyond the traditional boundaries of clothing.
The label’s tattoo-inspired origins remain important, but Wonderland expands the vocabulary. Here, garments become characters, materials become creatures, flowers become body extensions, and technology becomes part of the storytelling.
The result is a collection that operates on several levels at once: as fashion, as performance, as visual art, and as commentary on the world around us.
There is something deliberately theatrical about it, but the spectacle has purpose.
Wonderland asks its audience to imagine another reality.
And perhaps that is where fashion is most powerful—not simply in showing us what to wear, but in showing us what could exist.
TTSWTRS Spring 2027 is a journey into the unfamiliar, where fantasy becomes a mirror and clothing becomes part of the world-building. Welcome to Wonderland.
